 Cece Pastor and Word of Mouth just loves performing. As evidence of that, you can catch us at venues all over the GTA. Cece is in constant demand for appearances on the circuit. The Chicken Deli, Originals, Chalker's in Toronto; The Harp in Port Credit, Liquid Kitty in Hamilton, Brix in Markham and and Jukebox Live in Pickering are all regular stops in Cece's Party Patrol. We have played corporate events and clubs such as Original Motorcycle & Jozo's in Collingwood, Dakota's in Burlington, The Mustard Grille in Mississauga and Casino Rama in Orillia, Atlantis at Ontario Place and The Palais Royale. Party tents on the Lakeshore and in cottage country and almost every major downtown TO hotel have reverberated with the sounds of Cece Pastor and Word of Mouth. In addition to the band's busy schedule, Cece treks to the USA yearly. (The Bellagio in Las Vegas-2006, LA-2007.)
Bob cuts through with guitar prowess and great feel. He was instrumental in the 90's roots rock band The Belvista's touring with Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo and Tom Cochrane.
Chris brings stage and theater experience to the band as well as a great ear and the mighty Korg Triton keyboard. Soloing, effects, groove, atmosphere, chops .. it's all there. Add to all of that are great vocals. You will be amazed.
Chas has many claims to fame from Toronto to Trinidad and back, too many musical credits to list here, enough said that this band is thrilled to have his bass lines locking in groove and his voice warming up a crowd. His musical sensibilities and feel are a large part of why this band gets people on the dance floor.
Stephen, trained in Conservatory piano, self taught on the drums, locks it all in place with solid groove on an Odery custom kit. These drums are brought into Canada from Brazil by Soul Drums on Yonge Street (www.souldrums.com) and are stunning acoustically and visually.
Throughout our careers we have been privileged to play with many musicians. It would be a daunting task to list them all here. We would be remiss though if we did not mention Micheal Baxter who held the bassist position for many years. Well done Micheal! Keep groovin.
